Urban Stead Cheese Cincinnati
This past weekend, I went down to Cincinnati to visit some friends. It also happened to be St. Patrick’s day, but that was really just a coincidence. So Saturday, we got into the typical Irish Shenanigans, Guinness all day, broken up with some delicious Gomez Turtles for some Mexican flair. Then Sunday, after a delicious breakfast at Tucker’s we made our way to East Walnut Hills’ newest attraction: Urban Stead Cheese. Ben and I have been fangirling over Urban Stead since it was announced they would be opening near his house in Walnut Hills, so this was a dream come true.

Anyone else think it was Friday on Tuesday? Maybe it’s because it feels like spring should be here by now, or maybe it’s that we’ve been looking forward to St. Patrick’s Day, but it’s been a long week. Obsessing over some fun new things kept us going, though. Here’s what we’re loving in this week’s And Then We Tried Obsessions.
Keep ReadingI’ve been skiing three times, so obviously I need a full ski wardrobe
I survived skiing this weekend! I went skiing for the third time in my life and managed to not die, so now I get to embark on the best part of any new hobby, shopping for all the gear. For this trip, I borrowed Hannah’s ski jacket, pants, gloves, goggles, socks, clothes, literally all of it, and now that I think I want to ski again, I should buy my own jacket. Bonus, if I don’t have to borrow Hannah’s jacket, that means she can also come skiing and we CAN BE SKI-FRIENDS. Amazing. Here’s everything I’m looking at for my new ski wardrobe, please chime in in the comments with your recommendations because I’m basing this all purely on aesthetics.

Logically, we know it’s too soon to get excited about spring. At least here in Cleveland, we definitely still have snow in the near future. But with March kicking off tomorrow and a handful of recent warm days, we’re dreaming of what we’re going to be wearing once the weather warms up for good.

It’s been about one week since Hannah and I finished up the Whole30 and while we’re not sure we could be Whole30 or Paleo forever we’re trying to still eat some Whole30 stuff. Well, we’re at least finishing up our leftovers from last month. For anyone else thinking about trying a Whole30 we’ve got some tips and words of warning lined up for you here.
