Obsessions: 05.12.17

We’re soaking up the sun and booze in Mexico right now, but that doesn’t mean we just stop being obsessed with stuff. Here are our latest updates and obsessions:

Lively is launching swimwear!

Lively, the company that makes the underwear I’m going to marry, is launching swimwear later this month! Of course, this comes after Hannah bought literally every navy bathing suit the internet would sell her, and after I bought $400 of bathing suits in one day. But, still! Sign up for launch notifications here, you don’t want to miss it.

Glossier’s Cloud Paint

and then we tried obsession

I know, I know, I’m late to the party. BUT I’ve finally tried Glossier’s infamous Cloud Paint and I love it! However, you need the smallest possible amount and you still may look like a clown until you blend it all in. Just be ready.

Milly Handbag’s SLAY clutch

and then we tried milly handbag

This Milly handbag is giving me LIFE. I love it so much but at $295 I may never get to fully realize my KWEEN dreams.

J. Crew + New Balance on Sale

I was way into J. Crew’s collaboration with New Balance for their activewear line, but it was a little out of my budget. Luckily, a lot of the collection has been marked down and is included in J. Crew’s sales! I was able to get these scalloped capri leggings, these color blocked leggings, this tank top, and this crop top for 30% off the marked down price! Sale items are an additional 30% off right now, so get after it, people.

Mamma Mia!

Michelle and I have been listening to the Mamma Mia soundtrack essentially non-stop for the last two weeks. Join us, won’t you?

Attaching a wood fence to a chainlink fence

The process was similar to when I converted a chainlink fence to a wood fence, except in this case, we left the chainlink fence intact. This method is a good option if you want to add a little more privacy to your yard or camouflage a chainlink fence while you wait to save up for a completely new fence.

Fence Updates and Two-Panel Wood Driveway Gate Plans

Hellooooo, I’m thinking about fences again! You all had the pleasure of following along as I moved and rebuilt the fence in my backyard and then converted a chainlink fence into a wood fence along my driveway, and now it’s finally time to build that driveway gate. Of course, I can’t just build a driveway gate and leave it at that, I’ve also decided to cap the entire fence to cover up the dogear pickets and give everything a cleaner and more finished look. HOORAY!
