Logically, we know it’s too soon to get excited about spring. At least here in Cleveland, we definitely still have snow in the near future. But with March kicking off tomorrow and a handful of recent warm days, we’re dreaming of what we’re going to be wearing once the weather warms up for good.

Target has done it again. It wasn’t enough that they were taking all our money with their Hearth and Hand collection or their Joy Lab althleisure brand we were loving last fall. Now with their newest line, Universal Thread they are diversifying their fashion with a denim focused line that we are loving. Looking through the collection, I knew I liked pieces and that some looked oddly familiar. And then I realized why I like it so much; because they look just like my second favorite store, Madewell. So similar in fact, many of the pieces are almost exact replicas. We’ve rounded up our favorite Madewell inspired looks from the Universal Thread collection and ask should we save or splurge?

It’s been a year and a half since I started seriously whipping my skincare routine into shape. I read every article I could find, listened to this amazing podcast, went off dairy for months, tried more products than I care to remember, and finally visited a real dermatologist. Am I finally doing it right? For today, yes. And as my dermatologist reminded me, it’s all trial and error. So in a way we’re all wanna be dermatologists testing out products and ultimately seeing how our skin reacts.
And you know what? For me, I think it all comes down to routine. Letting the products do what they are made to do and sticking with it long enough to actually see results. Follow along to the key to my skincare routine, consistency and experimentation.
